CREATE CAÑON CITY is a public/private partnership that completes projects of civic
significance without using tax based public funding. The concept includes
multiple funding strategies that enlist the support of the local business community and citizens through voluntary, custom
designed contribution programs.Because the projects are all privately funded and managed, building costs are lower,
projects are completed quicker and most importantly private sector jobs are created. Local laborers, tradespeople,
suppliers, contractors and professional services are used in every instance possible.
